Hey, everyone. I've been searching the web for help on this issue, but it looks like I should have just checked with LiveJournal!
I just got a Nokia 6620 from Cingular two days ago. I spent the better part of the evening (and into the wee hours) playing with it and testing the camera and video recorder. Well, to clear out all of the junk, I made the apparent mistake of formatting the MMC card that came with the Cingular phone.
It turns out that Cingular preloaded all of the special software onto the MMC card and not the phone. Therefore, I wiped out my Opera Browser, my Office Suite software, and anything else (which I'm sure there was much) on the phone! I spoke with Cingular technical support, and they referred me to Nokia because they didn't know what to do. Nokia said that it's Cingular's problem.
All I need is a copy of another Cingular Nokia 6620's MMC card. If there's someone here in the Northern VA area, I would beg to meet you somewhere so that I could make a quick (it would take five minutes) copy. If you know how to make an image/backup of your card and could just email it, that would be fantastic, too. I hate not having my "real" cell phone anymore (especially after paying Cingular's prices), and this is a really simple fix if I could just get another card in my hands for a few ticks.
Thank you SO much in advance for anyone who can provide help. I sincerely appreciate it.
